Missing ‘Upload Multiple Documents’ Options from MOSS document Library
If you are trying to find your missing ‘Upload Multiple Documents’ option from your document library then read on.
You might have Office 2003 or later installed on the client machine and it is most likely that you have Client Integration disabled in Central Admin.
If SharePoint site is using Forms based authentication then Client Integration options is turned off by default or even if you have Windows based authentication just confirm it is not turned off.
If you have access to Central Admin follow the steps below or if you do not have access, contact your SharePoint Administrator to perform the steps below
Enable Client Integration
Goto your Central Admin -> Application Management -> Authentication Providers -> Edit Authentication
If you have defined different Zones, then click on the relevent zone and select the relevent Web application from the list (if you have multiple web applications)
Now Scroll all the way down on the Edit Authication page and you can see Client Integration Section.
If it is not enabled, you can enable it by clicking on “Yes” radio button
Hit “Save” button and now try to see you can see the option in your document library to “Upload Multiple Documents”
